Are you a Creative & looking for new ways to increase your household income?
I don’t know about you, but as a hard working Mama, I am always looking for new ways to increase our household income. Over the years I have tried many different avenues to earn extra cash & increase our income that will allow me to stay at home and homeschool our kiddo’s while supplementing my husband’s income. Some of these have worked and some haven’t I think you just need to give some things ago and see what will work for you.
One of my goals has always been to develop passive income streams which once set up will generate income without needing a huge amount of energy to maintain them.
Today I am going to share a few of the sites that have worked for me, sites where I earn ongoing income through royalties and commissions and in another post I will share some of the new avenues that I am currently looking at:
Use your gifts and talents to earn extra income!
One area that has been really successful for me has been using the Creative Gifts that God has given me and just finding new and innovative ways to use them to generate income. I really felt challenged by God from the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14–30 to begin to use what He had put in my hands regardless of how small or insignificant it felt to me.
Initially, I created mixed media paintings and sold the physical artworks through galleries and later online. I had a measure of success through this avenue, but once the physical product had sold my ability to generate income from it was gone.
I began to explore ways of selling my artwork online and soon discovered that there was a raft of online options that gave me a way of selling images and earning commissions or royalties. Some of the companies required that you submit an application and portfolio and others just allowed you to upload your images and begin to sell your art straight away.
Here’s just a small selection of online companies where I’ve had ongoing success creating extra monthly income:

“Inktale is an online marketplace that connects independent artists looking to sell their designs on print products with buyers interested in purchasing custom, unique, on-demand apparel and other goods.”
Inktale allows you to upload your designs, choose product categories to sell on and set the price you want to sell at. After that Inktale takes care of the rest: product mockups, orders, customer service – you don’t have to manage all that as you would on your own ecommerce platform. As an order containing your artwork is fulfilled, Inktale transfers the profit margin to your Wallet. Then you can spend the money on your own Inktale purchases, or withdraw it via PayPal once the earnings reach $25.
There are no upfront or subscription fees. Inktale only profits when a sale is made – our product base price already covers the service fee and the cost of manufacturing.
Inktale has partnered with drop shipping company Printful to provide the backend fulfillment. That means all purchases made on Inktale are automatically printed and shipped by Printful in one of their fulfillment centers in Los Angeles, CA, Charlotte, NC and Riga, Latvia (in Europe).
Inktale offers a hand-picked section of Printful products. Currently available product categories include t-shirts, tank tops, all-over t-shirts, all-over tank tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, phone cases, coffee mugs, throw pillows, wall art, tote bags, drawstring bags, leggings and towels.
